Kalihiwai Bay

A great beach, facing the Kalihiwai Bay, conditions during summer are usually calm and even the kids can swim. During winter its better left to the surfers. The Kalikiwai River is great for kayaking, breathtaking views await you.


The Ironwoods trees provide shade, there are nice grass areas for picnic spots and just to sit back and relax, enjoying the blue expanse of the ocean. There are no facilities or lifeguards.


Kalihiwai is a favorite with the locals. We found it after directions from one of the many beautiful people we met during our travel. Our whole family had a great time and its abvious why locals frequent Kalihiwai.
